Back in December 2007, when I was finishing my first semester of grad school (while also teaching full time), and now-sister-in-law was also in grad school, I somehow stumbled on this video and emailed it to her with the subject line, “3.5-minute study break.”
The actual message said, “If you need something to make you smile, or possibly laugh out loud, this will do it and it's short. It does require sound...”
Her reply? “THAT IS FANTASTIC!!!!”
I’ve heard this song a few times in the last week or so, and I can’t not think of the video as soon as I hear it, so I decided it was a sign that not only was it time to watch it again, but I should share it with you.
It’s the sort of thing I figure was genuinely inspired, because there’s just no way it could be so brilliant and instigate so much joy otherwise.
If you enjoy it, there are two more by the same guy—and, I see, a whole bunch done by others in the years since. (I’ve got the third one, “Synchronicity 1,” on right now, and it is just as creatively edited as the first one.)
Anyway—enough of my chattering. Watch and enjoy, and happy weekend!
Amazing! Thank you for this smile on a Saturday!
