On the podcast this week, comedian, writer, and musician Marc Kaye talks to me about how he got started in comedy, and how he uses creativity to help build better teams.
One of the most fascinating things about this conversation, for me, was hearing how Marc and his business partner at VitalConex take aspects of comedy and creativity to create safe spaces for teams to get to know themselves and their colleagues better, and thus create more understanding and trust among groups. It’s not a connection most of us make, but it’s clearly one that works.
Marc and I talked back in October, when my shiner had finally just disappeared, and as you’ll hear, he’s the guy who suggested I turn one of my “shiner stories” into an actual story. I haven’t forgotten, and I hope to get to that soon. 😁
