This week on the podcast, I’m talking with writer and producer Simon Guerrier.
Simon is a writer and producer who has written numerous books related to Doctor Who, produced five documentaries for BBC radio, and written more than 70 audio plays for Big Finish Productions, as well as comics and short stories. He also chairs the Books Committee for the Writers' Guild of Great Britain.
Simon and I really dug into what’s happening in the world of AI and how it’s likely to affect creativity and the arts, not only for the artists but also for those who enjoy the arts. We had this conversation before recent events like the controversy over Adobe Stock generating images based on the work of actual artists, including but not limited to Ansel Adams, without their permission, so this topic is going to continue to be relevant for a while.
