This, indeed. I wish we talked about acceptance and aliveness rather than letting people stumble on these ideas--especially aliveness--if they're lucky.

I'm lucky to have some dear friends I met in grade school, high school, college, and work, but in later life, I made several friends in writing classes and via the SCBWI conference, when I was writing middle grade novels. Another life it seems.

It’s red or it’s nothing! 🤣 And it’s amazing how hard it is to find a true red. I don’t get it. It’s iconic!
