Me me me! Honestly I think I'm mostly exhausted from trying to bear the weight of what is happening in the world. I'm worried about my kids. I'm worried about my old age, since it feels like what little safety net we had is being torn to shreds. The only thing that brings me joy is working in the garden - thank goodness it's summer! I have all these ideas about garden art, but no energy to execute. Thanks for tackling this one!
Thanks for this, Julia! I think you're spot on that the state of the world is not helping anything at all. I'm glad you have the garden and know it brings you joy. What happens if you spend just five minutes out there? If you haven't tried it as an experiment, I hope you will, and let me know. :)

I do! I just spent about 15 minutes out there and feel a lot better because of it. :)
I suspected as much, and am thrilled to hear it. AMAZING how that works, even in small doses!
Yes, I feel so lucky to have this lovely outdoor space here whenever I need it!
