I confess to choosing non-action over the last week, but I can feel a willingness to take a peek at new events and opportunities. Brave and curious is arising . Thank you for naming it! 🥰❤️

You know, I think it's normal to choose non-action when we're just stunned by something. And I think that's okay! Thanks for the reminder that it's not always an all-or-nothing, static situaton!

I too admire Eddie Izzard as well as his trans? identity. Thank you for this poem. I am trying to remain curious and open. Sometimes fear stalks me and temporarily wins but I will not let it take me over for long.

I think the moments of fear are the toughest moments to remember that there's an option to be brave and curious. I'm definitely being tested there right now and I'm finding it a challenge. And yet, just remembering it seems to help, even if only a little. But then there's Eddie, who manages it every single way in ways beyond what I need to do... lighting the way for all of us, I guess! (And making us laugh at the same time!)

I have heard, not making a choice, is choosing. It is choosing not to take action. All day long, I am choosing what I’m going to do, and how I respond. It is interesting and empowering if I choose to think about it.

I think this is exactly right, Helen. Not choosing is a choice. I'm not sure we're always aware of the choice to be brave and curious vs. fearful and suspicious, but we make it whether we know it or not. It's definitely more empowering when we're aware of it. I'm working on being more conscious of it!
